Museo
Al Campesino
Despite the name,
suggesting a museum,
this is more of a centre for arts and crafts sales. Pleasant buildings and
plantings dominated by one of César Manrique’s sculptures made of old
water tanks. It is supposedly a tribute to the Lanzarote field worker
(campesino) and represents the farmer, his dog and a rat
Some nice stuff if
you are in the market.
In the centre of
the island and very definitely on the tourist coach routes!
